One family’s story about their daughter and her battle with SMA opened our eyes to the world of SMA. Avery’s story inspired our first 3.1 miles, but the families still battling SMA have kept us moving!
The brAVERY run is a unique event that allows participants to run for SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) from ANYWHERE in the world! While the main/local 5k event is hosted in Fredericksburg, TX the virtual participants choose thier own course, distance, and time!
This event brings out the BRAVE in all of us!

The 2012 brAVERY run was able to donate over $7,000 toward vital research for Dr. Brian Kasper's research program. This year we hope to donate even more!
